The Government of India has passed a rule to link the Aadhar card number to the mobile numbers. To trace out the fake numbers the Government has taken this decision. Aadhar Card holds the 12-digit number issued by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). The biometric authentication will be taken from the applicants before issuing the Aadhar cards. Hence it is the must have documented for every Indian citizen.

People using the mobile phone must have to link their Aadhar card number to their mobile number. As per the surveys, in India there are 128 Cr mobile connections are live at present. While 33.8 cr SIM cards were already linked with the mobile numbers by July 2017. Still 75% SIM card users have to link-up their Aadhar card numbers in India. People who do not link their Aadhar Card number with their Mobile number will have to face the deactivation of their mobile number. Process to Link Aadhar Card with Mobile Number (SIM)
- Visit the nearest Network supplier outlet along with the aadhar card.
- Ask them to link SIM Card with Aadhr Card number by filling up a re-verification form.
- The executive will send the verification number to the mobile number.
- Provide the verification number to the operator.
- Also, the users need to give their biometric expressions.
- The confirmation message will be sent to the mobile number
- The users have to type Y and send the message.
- Within 24 hours the Mobile number will be linked with Aadhar Card number.

My sim was purchased in coimbatore on vacation for jiofi data, I work in Hyderabad and at store they ask me to go to tamilnadu.. Customer care says nothing can be done.. There is no MNP as this is roaming all over India… What a stupid situation.. Stupid. Really we hardly can live a life.. If we keep chasing our tails in India.. WHAT’S THE SOLUTION! RELIANCE?.. discard the sim.. Ahhhhh
same situation with me, i have called to customer care they said currently we don’t have any circle movement option online and offline.
Now, They amended the rules and as present you Can link your Sim with Aadhar (where ever the address may be)but, you have to verify the sim in the state you purchased.
Well hence the situation is stupid.. Or Only in India situation.. I have a PAN.. And adhaar.. Have a passport.. Yet RTO cannot extend my license in other states, mobile sim cannot be verified in other state.. Why do we call India an one.. Better call it “divided states of India”. In trying to get rid of few erroneous and dangerous SIM users.. All have to walk on fire.. I guess.. When there are no options.. Then what to do when gov suddenly imposes rules without thinking an Indian can be in any state in India.. Without a visa! Frustrating!
Any way.. I have to let the sim die.. And get a new one as going to my home state will cost me.. 5000.. Transportation and stay… Just for this.. SIM is free or much less than this.. Cost. When government wants to central, the call do PAN AADHAAR… But so may years.. They cannot Rto and Passport.. Why?

I went to Jio store and the biometrics verification is completed one week back. But, when I go to UIDAI website, I could see that my mobile number is not linked to my aadhar card. Kindly, let me know when will my number be linked to my aadhar card.
If you have three or more numbers u should link to your aadhaar number.If u want to link any of your mobile number,kindly visit any aadhaar Enrolment Center .

My Jio Number is issued in Bangalore, Karnataka, but, my aadhaar card id in Chennai, Tamilnadu. I could not link in Karnataka, they says my aadhaar is based in Tamilnadu. But in Chennai they says the sim belongs to Karnataka. How can I link. Give a soulution.
